What an exciting early holiday gift... 2,000 followers, and as I am typing this that number continues to grow. What does that number mean? To be honest I am not sure, it was a fun milestone to work toward, and know there is someone out there looking at all of my work, but it doesn't change how I see my self as a photographer, or what I think of SMP. 

We are growing, there are new things on the horizon, exciting adventures for us, and new destinations to be photographed! As many of you know this year I worked with alot of different up and coming photographers, as well as some amazing and talented photographers who have been around for years! I love meeting with the newer toggers as they bring fresh new ideas as well, many of them shot with me at portrait sessions and weddings, and then later in the year I brought on a *somewhat* full time assistant Michele, who has been amazing to work with. Having worked with other wedding photographers in the past she didnt think I was too crazy, and she is so detailed oriented she keeps me on track. We work so well together, and there is certainly something to be said for getting to work with a great friend at all of our events and weddings! She does of course like to remind me of her job security in my name "Sarah Michele Photography" that while Michele is MY middle name, its also her name, and there are very few spelled the way we spell ours!!!

If you are coming out to the Christmas minis this year, then you will get to meet Michele, she will be the one checking you in, and then of course doing what she does best, standing over my camera, laughing, singing, blowing bubbles, and passing out candy to get your children's true genuine smiles.

I am beyond grateful for another amazing year that SMP is almost completing, I have met so many new faces, captured many new babies, weddings, milestones, and events. I love meeting up with families from years past, seeing the changes, the additions, and hearing updates... speaking of updates.. please send us a holiday card this year, we love to see how your children have grown from the last time we saw them, or what the newborn I photographed looks like now! 

Speaking of now, now is always changing, new things are coming, changes to wedding packages, portraits sessions, vendor reviews, styled sessions... these things are all coming up.. but they and everything we are now, are ll made possible by you, for letting SMP in to some of the most intimate and amazing moments of your life, and letting us document every little detail, from birth sessions to weddings, to everyday portrait updates, we love being part of your family.

Now that we have reached 2,000 plus fans, (and thats just on facebook) it's our turn to give back to you..
