We had the honor of celebrating the marriage of Nancy and Brandon on New Years Eve at The Mansion at Valley Country Club. The bride, a third grade school teacher, was stunning in a white trumpet silhouette gown. The groom, funny and handsome. Their love is evident and they know how to have a good time. Just ask their bridal party!
Little details stood out at this wedding. One of my favorite decorations were the framed cards of handwritten marriage advice by Nancy's students! Guests were able to sip cocktails and peruse the wedded bliss tips, which included such gems as "give her sugar" and "help him make stuff."
The luxurious feel of the venue provided just the right atmosphere for a New Years party, and that is exactly what this couple and all of their guests did. After a delicious formal dinner, we all (yes, photographers included!) danced the night away. The wedding culminated with an emphatic countdown and the couple shared their first NYE kiss as husband and wife, surrounded by the ones who love them most. Shortly afterwards, they made their grand escape via school bus. Cheers, Brandon and Nancy. We wish you the very best of luck!
As for SMP, there are big things in store in 2014! Lots more weddings (one at the Baltimore Aquarium!), the always popular holiday Mini Sessions, and a brand new Boudoir Party concept that is SURE to be a huge hit! There are wedding dates still open for this year, and booking for 2015 has begun.
We wish you all the very best that this brand new year has to offer and are looking forward to capturing your best moments!
